RE/MAX Portals are Top across the UK!

 
As those who have sold their property through us will already know, we work tirelessly to get your property noticed. Just as important as having a shop window and a dedicated agent is of course an online presence – after all this is now where almost 90% of the very first search activity starts when someone is looking to purchase a new home.

At RE/MAX Real Estate Centre we not only have our own website reaching buyers around the world, our own Facebook page to showcase properties on the market with us, a Twitter, YouTube and an Instagram account but we also actively promote the properties we list on S1 Homes, Prime Location, Rightmove and Zoopla (but to name just a few). For any seller – this is probably the best news you could ever wish to hear from your agent… gone are the days that the old fashioned mediums such as printed property guides and local solicitors were the first port of call to look for properties… and here are the days of the internet savvy purchasers that want everything at the click of a button.

The most recent research shows that brand awareness for Zoopla is now at an all-time high and is establishing a growing gap over other search mediums. Research conducted by Harris Interactive questioned over 1,100 adults across the UK during the week commencing September 26th 2016 - it tested them via prompts to recognise certain brands. Having overtaken Rightmove in May this year in a similar piece of research, the latest test puts Zoopla at 90 per cent recognition. Rightmove has 81 per cent, neither figure there to be sniffed at. All in all, the market share (in reach terms) for the RE/MAX suite of internet portals is nearing the 70% mark compared with that of the TSPC which is holding at around 11.8% according to the latest research.

Time and time again we achieve faster property sales and quite often at above asking price. When you look at where we look for buyers then it’s not all that difficult to understand why. Dundee has an ever increasing level of inward investment which means people buying from out-with the usual boundaries…

Getting your property noticed further afield is the only sure fire way to achieving a sale at the right price in the right time.
